Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for new and existing clients to identify individual needs and formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to conduct individual, couples, and group therapy sessions.
• Lead psychoeducational and support groups aimed at addressing common mental health concerns, fostering community support among attendees.
• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive treatment approach for each client.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization for affected individuals.
• Educate clients about mental health conditions, potential treatment pathways, and available community resources to empower their recovery journey.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records that comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all documentation is up to date and accurately reflects client progress.
• Engage in case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and stay abreast of best practices in mental health treatment.
• Continuously pursue professional development opportunities to integrate new research findings and techniques into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing various mental health conditions across multiple age groups, from children to adults. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches.
• Proficient in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans for clients.
• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions to a variety of populations with diverse needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for building strong therapeutic relationships.
• Adherence to high standards of professional ethics and sound judgment in maintaining professional boundaries.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and a comfort level with basic computer applications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team dynamic, contributing to holistic patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient setting, particularly with clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Knowledge of community resources in the Sacramento area to assist clients in accessing additional support services.
• Proficiency in conducting teletherapy sessions effectively, utilizing video conferencing platforms that enhance client engagement.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 – $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
