Bayless Integrated Mental Healthcare Pte. Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our diverse outpatient team in Sacramento, California. Work Environment

The work setting is entirely remote, providing flexibility and convenience for our therapists to connect with clients. The typical work schedule runs Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that take into account patients' unique cultural and personal experiences, facilitating the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), that resonate with individual patients’ backgrounds and needs.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address a range of mental health concerns, fostering resilience and coping strategies among clients.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to deliver integrated and coordinated care for our patients.
• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, offering immediate support and strategies to help patients during emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their healthcare journey.
• Maintain diligent records and documentation to ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and training sessions to enhance care delivery and foster cultural competency within the practice.
• Stay updated on current research, best practices, and cultural considerations in the field of mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include individuals from diverse backgrounds, particularly ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ communities, and immigrants. This position places a strong emphasis on cultural sensitivity and inclusive practices to ensure that all patients feel seen, heard, and respected. The therapist will play a key role in delivering personalized care that respects each patient's unique experiences and challenges.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required; a Master's degree or higher is preferred.
• Licensure as a mental health professional in California (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of culturally competent care practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient mental health settings is highly desirable.
• Previous work with diverse populations and familiarity with multicultural issues in mental health are advantageous.
• Proficiency in therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, humanistic psychology, etc. will be considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
