Work Environment

This position is designed to be fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still being part of a collaborative team. Our community health clinic approach ensures that you have access to resources and a robust support system, even while delivering care through secure video and phone platforms. With a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, you can maintain a balanced work-life while making a difference in clients' lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and provide accurate diagnoses for clients presenting with a range of mental health issues.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver engaging telehealth therapy sessions that focus on evidence-based practices.
• Utilize secure digital platforms to facilitate remote consultations while ensuring the highest standards of privacy and care.
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation, including treatment plans and progress notes, in accordance with organizational and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to maintain a holistic approach to patient care, fostering a connected community of support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will work primarily with adults and adolescents, addressing issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and behavioral disorders. Your role is critical in helping clients develop coping strategies and achieve positive outcomes in their mental health journeys, while tailoring your approach to meet the diverse needs of your patient population.

Qualifications

• An active and unrestricted license in California as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Proven capacity to build strong connections with clients and establish rapport quickly.
• Exceptional attention to detail in managing client records and treatment documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing mental health counseling or therapy.
• Experience delivering telehealth services and familiarity with various virtual counseling methods and tools.
• Knowledge of community health resources and an ability to navigate systemic barriers to mental health care.
