Work Environment

As a mental health counselor, you will collaborate with a network of interdisciplinary professionals, providing essential mental health services to a diverse range of clients, ensuring they receive the best care possible. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions, tailored to meet the unique psychological needs of each client, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans and interventions.
• Maintain a detailed treatment log that accurately reflects clients’ progress and adapt strategies when necessary to ensure effective care.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills to counsel patients, addressing crises and situations that require immediate intervention in a compassionate manner.
• Collaborate with clients and their families to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that foster resolution and enhance well-being.
• Monitor clients' progress through regular follow-up evaluations and adjust care plans as necessary to align with evolving psychological needs.
• Provide educational programs and support resources to clients and families, helping them navigate mental health challenges and fostering resilience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse clientele, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds experiencing a range of mental health concerns. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with clients who have unique challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and other psychological conditions. Your role will be critical in developing therapeutic relationships that empower clients toward achieving their personal goals and improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must possess a relevant Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a Ph.D.
• State licensure required: candidates should be licensed as LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or possess a PsyD.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling techniques.
• Background in working with diverse populations and understanding of cultural competencies in mental health.
• Prior experience in crisis intervention and the ability to utilize de-escalation techniques effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 135,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience. In addition to a $1,000 sign-on bonus, counselors can also access up to $2,000 in performance-based bonuses, contingent upon state licensure.
