Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual in-home and virtual therapy sessions designed to meet the specific needs of youth and their families.
\n
• Facilitating group therapy sessions aimed at addressing common behavioral challenges among participants.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques for anger management, coping strategies, and social skills training.
\n
• Working collaboratively with the Child Family Treatment Team and various professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's treatment plan.
\n
• Monitoring and documenting client progress meticulously, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, within established timelines.
\n
• Participating in monthly team meetings to review cases and exchange recommendations to optimize care delivery.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is focused on supporting a diverse population of children aged 3-20 who face developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. You will work closely with primary caregivers to enhance their decision-making skills and provide them with the tools necessary to manage behavioral challenges effectively. Your efforts will greatly influence the overall wellbeing of these children, fostering positive behavioral changes and enhanced family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
\n
• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license.
\n
• A minimum availability of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours, specifically between 4-7 PM, with some weekend availability being advantageous.
\n
• Experience providing behavioral support and therapy to children and families.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While the following are not mandatory, they are highly desirable:

• Prior experience working specifically with children who have intellectual or developmental disabilities.
\n
• Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese, as we are actively seeking bilingual therapists to better accommodate our diverse clientele.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle to visit clients in their homes if needed.
\n
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is also a prerequisite.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide:
