Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations by screening, testing, and diagnosing patients to establish tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize various physical therapy procedures and modalities according to established standards to effectively treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulatory and facility standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to align on treatment goals and patient needs.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides in delivering high-quality patient care.
• Engage in ongoing education and training to refine personal skills and further enhance departmental capabilities.
• Participate in department initiatives, including quality improvement processes and program development to boost service delivery and patient satisfaction rates.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and maintain optimal department operations.
• Participate in billing processes and maintain productivity standards as outlined by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A current state license as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; further educational qualifications such as a Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program are preferred.
• A solid clinical background with at least two years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in home care.
• Demonstrated skills and experience in working with diverse populations and the physical capabilities required for various therapeutic tasks.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health care settings.
