Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through detailed initial interviews, and maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the treatment process.

• Design and implement customized treatment plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring that evidence-based approaches are utilized.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques and modalities to promote healing and growth.

• Monitor the progress of clients through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary to drive optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Engage in post-discharge follow-ups for clients who have been hospitalized, ensuring a smooth transition back to outpatient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and various co-occurring disorders. The remote nature of our service model allows us to cater to a broader range of client needs, including those who may face barriers to traditional in-person therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor or therapist, with a proven track record of supporting clients through clinical challenges.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to ensure accurate documentation and streamlined workflow.

Compensation and Benefits\n
