Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms, such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs and therapeutic goals, ensuring a personalized approach to care.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client growth and healing.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care techniques to enhance understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Continuously monitor client progress, regularly updating treatment plans based on effectiveness and client feedback.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support and continuity of treatment.

• Stay informed on the latest research and intervention strategies related to mood disorders to continuously improve your therapeutic practice.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation as per legal and ethical standards, ensuring clarity in treatment history and progress.

• Participate in weekly case consultations and team meetings to foster collaboration and share insights with colleagues.

• Advocate for mental health awareness and the needs of clients, working to reduce stigma and improve access to care.

The role focuses on supporting clients battling mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, with a commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity. Our client base ranges from individuals from various backgrounds, including those facing challenges such as homelessness, domestic violence, and refugee status. Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
