Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting within a telehealth framework, allowing you to connect with clients virtually. This enables you to maintain a balanced work-life dynamic while engaging with clients across various locations. Your schedule will primarily consist of standard office hours, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility needed based on patient requirements. You will be equipped with the latest digital tools and platforms that facilitate seamless communication and ensure confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to create tailored treatment plans.

• Implementing therapeutic interventions including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities that foster client growth and healing.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential clinical records that comply with HIPAA and other relevant regulations, ensuring the highest level of client confidentiality.

• Collaborating with a diverse treatment team, which includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to provide holistic care.

• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to ensure consistent, high-quality care delivery across all cases.

• Providing education and support for clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources that can aid in recovery.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington state.

• A deep understanding of and experience with solution-focused psychotherapy principles, allowing for tailored intervention strategies that meet individual client needs.
