Full-Time Physical Therapist - Rehabilitation Center

Position Overview

Fox Physical Therapy is seeking dedicated and passionate Physical Therapists to join our team at our Hialeah, Florida rehabilitation center. This full-time position will allow you to engage with a diverse patient population while applying advanced therapeutic techniques to support their recovery and rehabilitation. Our work schedule primarily includes Monday to Thursday from 3 PM to 7 PM and a shorter shift on Fridays, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

You will be working onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Hialeah, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing injuries, diseases, and disabilities.
• Utilize a variety of physical therapy modalities and techniques to implement effective treatment plans while ensuring optimal patient care and recovery outcomes.
• Provide education and training to patients and caregivers, enabling them to understand the therapeutic process and improve adherence to treatment regimens.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nursing staff, to communicate patient goals and coordinate care effectively.
• Ensure efficient operations within the department by maintaining compliance with productivity standards and operational protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes continuously.
• Oversee the work of physical therapy assistants, aides, and interns, ensuring consistent high-quality patient care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education opportunities and actively seek out new knowledge to apply in practice.
• Assist in the preparation of patient billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role emphasizes working with a diverse range of patients, including pediatrics, requiring specialized knowledge and skills when addressing developmental issues and growth patterns. You will be responsible for tailoring your approach to cater to varied demographics, ensuring inclusivity and effective treatment. Successfully caring for patients involves a deep understanding of their unique backgrounds, preferences, and individual health challenges.

Qualifications

• A current State Physical Therapist license is required.
• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Proven clinical experience in a healthcare setting with a strong focus on rehabilitation practices is essential.
• Demonstrate expertise working with the specific patient population relevant to our rehabilitation center.
• Possess physical capabilities such as manual dexterity, mobility, and effective communication skills essential for providing high-quality patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience in physical therapy settings with a specific focus on rehabilitation practices tailored to pediatrics and general patient populations.
• Experience in managing documentation, patient care workflows, and familiarity with relevant rehabilitation technologies will be highly advantageous.
• Prior involvement in department-based quality improvement projects or willingness to contribute to program development initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 50,000 to 75,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
