Work Environment\n

This position is designed to allow for remote work, providing flexibility to our therapists while ensuring they can effectively reach and support students within the school setting. You will operate primarily on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on the specific needs of the students you are serving. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs of students and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, ensuring adaptation to the unique dynamics of the school environment.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, addressing common issues such as anxiety, depression, and stress management, while fostering a sense of community among students.

• Collaborate closely with educators, school psychologists, and parents to ensure coordinated care and holistic support for students.

• Provide crisis intervention services to students facing immediate mental health emergencies, demonstrating calmness and authority in stressful situations.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all therapy sessions and interventions in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
