Care of Joints Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Highland Park, New Jersey. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized physical therapy services in our outpatient office setting. Work Environment

The position is based onsite in our outpatient clinic, which fosters a supportive and team-oriented atmosphere. Standard clinic hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver customized treatment sessions to patients, focusing on their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Manage and maintain an optimal caseload, ensuring adequate time and attention is provided for each patient's care plan.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in orthopedic outpatient care, applying your clinical expertise to guide patients through their recovery.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and utilize successful techniques to enhance patients' mobility and functionality.
• Formulate comprehensive care plans incorporating various therapeutic methods, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Encourage patient engagement and motivation throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive environment.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with your colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Thoroughly document patient progress and treatment plans using EMR software, specifically Web PT, to maintain precise records.
• Promote a culture of wellness by encouraging patients to adopt healthier lifestyle practices, enhancing strength, flexibility, and overall physical function.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele primarily consists of individuals seeking recovery from musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and preventative care. You will work with a varied patient demographic, including athletes, older adults, and individuals recovering from surgery or chronic conditions. Understanding each patient's unique background and physical challenges will be pivotal in delivering effective treatment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a similar applicable field.
• An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• A strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and practical experience in orthopedic settings.
• Proficient with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, to document patient interactions and treatment plans efficiently.
• In-depth knowledge of current physical therapy techniques, all supported by the latest research.

Preferred Experience

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred.
• Exceptional abilities in developing and implementing exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
