Work Environment

This role primarily takes place in a remote work environment, allowing our team members to maintain flexibility while providing high-quality care. While the position is remote, counselors will participate in regular team meetings and supervision sessions to ensure collaborative support and ongoing professional development. Our outpatient office is equipped with modern technology and resources to facilitate effective clinical practices and enhance the counselor's ability to engage with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an active caseload of clients, ensuring the establishment of rapport and positive therapeutic relationships that honor professional ethics and boundaries.
• Conduct regular sessions with clients to monitor treatment progress, stability, and readiness for discharge, employing appropriate clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized, person-centered treatment plans that outline goals, interventions, and expected outcomes.
• Document progress notes and maintain accurate records for each client, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Perform in-depth intake assessments to determine clients’ needs and formulate effective strategies for treatment.
• Provide individual psychotherapy sessions weekly, utilizing evidence-based practices and tailored strategies to address specific mental health challenges.
• Participate in clinical supervision opportunities to enhance skills and receive support in challenging cases.
• Work closely with other healthcare providers, engaging in case consultations and interdisciplinary discussions as needed to optimize client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Bright Tomorrows, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting is essential.
• Proficient in utilizing technology for documentation, assessment, and effective communication with clients and team members.
• Experience providing individual psychotherapy services to both individuals and families is highly desirable.
• Comfortable and competent in conducting comprehensive intake assessments to plan appropriate interventions.
