Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for increased flexibility in managing your professional and personal commitments while contributing to a vital mission. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs of patients and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy in both individual and group settings.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, creating a space for patients to learn about mental health and share their experiences.
\n
• Cooperate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, effectively managing mental health emergencies through de-escalation and actionable coping strategies.

• Educate patients about mental health challenges, treatment pathways, and available community resources, empowering them through knowledge.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a collaborative atmosphere that augments patient care and professional development.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and advancements in therapy practices to continuously improve service delivery and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from adolescents to adults, each with unique needs and presenting challenges. Our patient population includes individuals facing chronic mental health issues, situational crises, and those seeking preventive care. Your role will be central in building therapeutic relationships that support patient engagement and commitment to treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• Robust knowledge of mental health disorders and contemporary therapeutic practices.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting mental health assessments and developing comprehensive treatment strategies.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect effectively with patients from varied backgrounds.
