Key Responsibilities\n

• Refer clients to additional healthcare providers and community resources as necessary, including psychiatrists or support groups, to enhance their treatment experience.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Active Path Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals grappling with various mental health disorders, life transitions, and other emotional challenges. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.

• Proficient understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and experience in maintaining composure during challenging situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
