Work Environment

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Inner Calm, you will collaborate closely with other professionals in a community health clinic setting, including psychiatrists, social workers, and fellow therapists, allowing for a rich collaborative environment that enhances client outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments of clients to identify mental health concerns, formulating precise clinical diagnoses, and developing individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address clients’ varied needs.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, coordinating care as needed to ensure client safety and well-being.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, optimizing treatment plans based on interdisciplinary feedback.
• Actively educate clients and their families on mental health issues, encompassing treatment options and available community resources, while advocating for their rights and necessary supports.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and conferences to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.

You will work with a richly diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications

• A valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) is required.

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health setting.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with additional experience in specialized therapeutic modalities and diverse populations will be highly considered. Experience working in a community health setting may also provide an advantageous perspective in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we provide a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, and vision insurance options.
