Spring Water Behavioral Health Services is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPC) to join our dynamic outpatient practice based in Jersey City, New Jersey. Work Environment

This role offers flexibility through a remote work setting, which is complemented by a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms—analyzing the severity, frequency, and duration of their experiences.
• Collaborate with clients to create customized treatment plans that address their unique needs and therapeutic goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to each client’s requirements.
• Engage in psychoeducation with clients and their families, providing insights on mood disorders, various treatment options, and essential self-care strategies.
• Monitor client progress diligently, adapting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to client care.
• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment modalities to enhance the effectiveness of provided services.
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings, professional development activities, and case consultations to continually refine clinical skills and knowledge.
• Advocate for clients and contribute to efforts aimed at destigmatizing mental health challenges in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with primarily include individuals facing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our diverse clientele calls for therapists who are adept at culturally competent care and can tailor their approaches to meet varied backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.
• A robust understanding of psychopharmacology and the capacity to collaborate effectively with medical professionals.
• A history of successful outcomes in treating mood disorders with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to build rapport with clients from a spectrum of backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a community health setting, understanding the challenges and opportunities unique to this environment.
• Prior involvement in interdisciplinary team practices to streamline and enhance client care delivery.
• Active participation in community outreach or mental health advocacy work would be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
