Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments by engaging clients in open discussions, using evidence-based practices to evaluate their mental health needs and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and administer therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the specific issues presented by clients.
• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, which includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at enhancing the quality of care and sharing best practices.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families about various mental health conditions, treatment alternatives, and community resources available to them.
• Stay informed of the latest research in mental health treatment and participate in continuous professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a diverse client population, ranging from adolescents to adults, each facing unique mental health challenges. You will engage with clients dealing with trauma-related issues, anxiety disorders, depression, and various behavioral concerns. By developing individualized therapy plans and applying therapeutic techniques grounded in evidence-based research, you will directly contribute to improved client outcomes and foster resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required to qualify for this position.
• An active license in the state of New Jersey to practice as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW is essential.
• Significant understanding and application of solution-focused interventions to create tailored therapeutic strategies for various individuals will be highly valued.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with clients and their families.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities that enhance therapeutic interactions.

Preferred Experience
