Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Fort Myers, Florida. You will be working a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, ensuring a balanced work-life commitment while being part of a dynamic and supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities

In your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Evaluating and diagnosing patients referred by physicians to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions across a wide range of specialties including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Providing hands-on care and instruction in therapeutic exercises, ensuring alignment with the physician's plan of care.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes through coordinated care.
• Educating and training patients and their caregivers on rehabilitation exercises and lifestyle modifications to support recovery.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and metrics to meet service goals and compliance standards.
• Providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of our care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve treating a diverse patient population, focusing on individuals with orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, neurological disorders, and children requiring specialized rehabilitation support. By employing a patient-centered approach, you will help clients achieve their functional goals and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following credentials:

• A Bachelor's degree from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer applications.

Preferred Experience
