Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to determine clients' histories and needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, employing evidence-based methodologies.

• Utilize therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to assist clients in processing trauma.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to foster emotional healing and resilience among clients.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support in cases of trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele predominantly includes individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, ranging from acute incidents to longstanding, complex issues. Many of our clients present with PTSD, dissociative disorders, and complex trauma, all of which require a nuanced understanding and a customized treatment approach. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience in mental health therapy is preferred.
