This position will be primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work environment from the comfort of your own home. However, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with our outpatient office team in Redwood City, California, as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mental health to establish a comprehensive understanding of their needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and tailored to the specific challenges faced by clients.

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions that range from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to mindfulness techniques, depending on the client's needs.

• Collaborate with clients to set realistic and achievable therapeutic goals, regularly monitoring and adjusting the treatment plans as necessary.

• Document clinical interactions and progress updates accurately and consistently in our secure electronic health record system.

• Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and foster a collaborative approach to mental healthcare.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Serene Balance Psychological Center, you will primarily work with adult clients facing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship challenges. Our clientele is diverse, representing different backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences, which ensures a rich and rewarding therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• Active licensure as LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.

• A bachelor’s or higher degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.

• Proven experience in providing mental health therapy, especially focused on adult clinical populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
