Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate each client's unique needs and design personalized treatment plans.

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.

• Lead and facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at addressing prevalent mental health issues and promoting community engagement.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Respond to mental health emergencies by providing effective crisis intervention services and support.
\n
• Educate clients on mental health conditions, available resources, and the therapeutic process to foster self-management and empowerment.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Participate in team-oriented case consultations, meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Remain current on best practices in mental health therapy, including emerging research and innovative treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist at Cape Hope Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse client population experiencing a range of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW within the state of Massachusetts.

• In-depth understanding of mental health conditions and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to carry out comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment strategies.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy to a variety of populations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills conducive to building therapeutic relationships.

• Strong ethical standards with a firm grasp of professional boundaries and mental health legislation.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
