As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will be pivotal in providing high-quality rehabilitation care to patients recovering from various physical conditions. Work Environment

The work setting is a modern and welcoming rehabilitation center equipped with advanced technology and resources to support patient care. The center promotes a collaborative work environment where Physical Therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapy assistants, and support staff work closely together. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, offering a structured yet flexible work schedule that fosters work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, utilizing hands-on assessments, functional tests, and patient history to formulate treatment plans.
• Customize rehabilitation treatments designed to reduce pain, improve mobility, and facilitate functional independence by employing a range of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, exercise, and education regarding self-management practices.
• Actively monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes while employing metrics and assessment tools to evaluate efficacy.
• Educate patients and their families regarding rehabilitation strategies, injury prevention techniques, and lifestyle modifications conducive to recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team to optimize patient care and maintain informed communication about patient journeys.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment outcomes in accordance with licensing and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population encompasses individuals of all ages dealing with a range of conditions. Key areas of focus include sports injuries, chronic pain management, postoperative recovery, and rehabilitation for neuromuscular dysfunction. Our therapists employ a customized approach to tailor treatments to meet the specific needs and goals of each patient, ensuring that every recovery journey is supported effectively.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Master's degree will be considered an asset.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Board certification or eligibility by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting, exhibiting proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and patient-centered care.
• Strong analytical skills to assess patient needs and develop effective intervention strategies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust with patients and facilitate teamwork within the healthcare environment.

Preferred Experience

• Five or more years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in a wide array of physical therapy modalities and techniques, including but not limited to manual therapy and advanced exercise prescriptions.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including geriatric, post-operative, and sports rehabilitation clients.

Compensation and Benefits
