Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage an active caseload of clients by establishing rapport, building trust, and maintaining professional ethics and boundaries in all interactions.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to evaluate their progress towards treatment goals, addressing their stability, scheduling upcoming appointments, and planning for discharge as needed.

• Develop, implement, and assess person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions through progress notes in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and establish baseline treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities consistent with best practices in mental health counseling.

• Participate in ongoing individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and ensure quality care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves supporting adult clients experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma-related disorders. You will work collaboratively to ensure that each individual's treatment reflects their personal values, experiences, and goals, focusing on building resilience and fostering self-efficacy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

• Proven ability to meet credentialing requirements for clinical practice within the organization.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals with substance use issues is essential.

• Previous experience conducting assessments, diagnosing mental health conditions, and providing both individual and group therapy.

• Competency in using electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer skills for maintaining documentation and tracking client progress.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with specialized training in evidence-based therapies or who have experience with specific populations, such as veterans, adolescents, or individuals with co-occurring disorders. Additional certification in trauma-informed care or other relevant specialties would be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
