Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing for a flexible schedule that facilitates a healthy work-life balance. Although the majority of counseling sessions will be conducted via telehealth, the team collaborates closely through Virtual Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and regular check-ins to ensure that patient care is innovative and effective. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that align with the unique needs of each client.

• Engage in ongoing communication with clients, family members, and the treatment team to monitor progress and adjust care as needed.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions in various formats, including individual therapy, family therapy, and group sessions, ensuring that methodologies are evidence-based.
\n
• Coordinate home visits and in-home observations, when necessary, to gather additional insights on clients’ environments and support systems.
\n
• Document all clinical interactions accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Facilitate training for staff on effective treatment modalities and the usage of necessary documentation tools to ensure that all team members are aligned in their approach.
\n
• Prepare and present reports during team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaboratively refine treatment strategies.
\n
• Act as a liaison within the mental health community, building relationships that improve client access to necessary resources.
\n
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will involve working with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults. The counselor will address a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.
