This unique role focuses on providing mental health counseling to patients with both psychiatric and medical complexities, including chronic pain and substance use disorders. Work Environment\n

This position offers a full-time work schedule, typically from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility for occasional evening shifts based on patient requirements. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, evaluating the psychological impact that medical conditions may have on patients.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that integrate mental health and medical needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform your therapeutic approach.

• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions that focus on enhancing patients' coping strategies and overall mental health.

• Stay current with best practices and emerging research in integrated mental health care to enhance clinical expertise and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on supporting individuals facing complex medical and mental health challenges. This includes clients dealing with chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, substance use, and other comorbid conditions. Your ability to empathize and address these multifaceted issues will be crucial in guiding them through their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona.

• Demonstrated proficiency in addressing mental health needs, especially for those with co-occurring medical conditions.

• Experience with integrated care models and a commitment to collaboration with medical professionals.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with a knack for building therapeutic relationships.

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and uphold ethical guidelines while ensuring confidentiality.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient information effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
