Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose clients’ mental health conditions and establish appropriate therapeutic goals.

• Create individualized therapy plans that are tailored to each client's unique circumstances, preferences, and treatment objectives.

• Facilitate virtual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Care.

• Document clinical encounters accurately and timely in adherence to legal and ethical standards, maintaining a high level of compliance with organizational policies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to develop integrated treatment approaches that address all aspects of client care.

• Regularly participate in training and development workshops to stay abreast of advancements in mental health treatment and relevant therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base composed of children, adolescents, adults, and families, presenting various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Your ability to tailor interventions to meet the distinct needs of these clients is instrumental in promoting their overall wellness and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure in New York State as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience in a mental health setting is essential.

• Demonstrated expertise in specific therapeutic areas, such as trauma and addiction, will be considered an advantage.

• A strong understanding of ethical and legal guidelines governing mental health practice is crucial.

• Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience with teletherapy platforms and familiarity with digital healthcare tools is preferred, as well as any background in implementing trauma-informed care models. Knowledge of assessment tools and evidence-based practices for a range of psychiatric disorders will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
