Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial consultations and assessments to accurately document clients’ mental health needs.

• Evaluate patients’ emotional, behavioral, and psychological conditions, tailoring approaches to their unique situations.

• Design and implement individualized treatment and recovery plans, adapting strategies as needed based on ongoing assessments.

• Lead individual therapy sessions and group interventions that encourage open dialogue and healing.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers, to provide cohesive care.

• Assist in managing client referrals to external specialists and follow up on care transitions, ensuring smooth continuity of care.

• Provide support and guidance to family members of clients, helping them navigate complex mental health concerns together.

Qualifications\n

• A relevant Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• Successful completion of the NCE, NCMHCE, or equivalent licensing examinations.
\n
• Demonstrable experience in a mental health counseling setting, showcasing your clinical skills and proficiency.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clearly documenting client interactions and progress.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR to manage client documentation effectively.

• Understanding of co-occurring conditions such as substance abuse along with mental health disorders.

• Familiarity with best practices advocated by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) or similar organizations.

• An in-depth understanding of psychotropic medications and their implications in therapeutic settings.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy and active listening, to foster trusting relationships with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer an attractive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, accompanied by a competitive sign-on bonus.
