Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and create tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans emphasizing trauma recovery using evidence-based practices.

• Provide therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) tailored to the needs of each client.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that support patients in processing their trauma experiences while fostering coping strategies and resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other multidisciplinary professionals to provide comprehensive, integrated care.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during urgent situations involving trauma-related emergencies.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Washington state.

• Demonstrated experience working with trauma-related disorders and comprehensive knowledge of trauma-informed treatment approaches.
