Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, utilizing physical assessments and relevant history to create effective treatment strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Engage with patients and their families to explain evaluation results and develop collaborative goal-setting processes for treatment plans.
• Demonstrate your expertise through the proficient implementation of evidence-based treatment protocols, adapting plans based on patient progress and changing needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient care, ensuring that changes in patient conditions are duly documented and adjustments to care plans are made promptly.
• Oversee discharge planning, ensuring continuity of care by providing follow-up recommendations, clear documentation, and patient education for at-home exercises.
• Manage your time effectively to meet productivity expectations, maintain accurate schedules, and participate in departmental meetings and marketing initiatives to support community outreach.
• Contribute actively to the department's goals, uphold compliance with governmental and accreditation standards, and take initiative in personal and organizational growth through continuing education and mentoring of students.
• Foster an environment that promotes exceptional patient experience by ensuring accessibility and clear communication regarding treatment processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with diverse patient populations, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate interactions with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other software systems relevant to patient documentation and care management.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to patient care, with a willingness to learn and embrace new treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working in a physical therapy setting is preferred, providing exposure to a variety of treatment techniques and patient demographics.
• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation and an understanding of effective marketing tactics in healthcare are advantageous.
• Prior experience as a clinical instructor or mentor to students in physical therapy programs is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
