Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to understand their medical history, current physical condition, and symptoms, allowing for accurate assessments and diagnosis.
• Analyze movement dysfunction and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Educate patients on therapeutic exercises and techniques, ensuring they understand how to apply these methods for maximum benefit.
• Administer hands-on treatment techniques, including manual therapy, massage, and stimulation, to promote healing and facilitate recovery.
• Assist patients in the use of rehabilitation equipment, such as wheelchairs or walkers, guiding them in safe and effective usage.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records, tracking progress and documenting treatment plans to enhance care coordination.
• Provide families with in-home exercise recommendations and treatment options for continued recovery support outside of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse range of patients, including children, adults, and seniors with various physical disabilities, post-surgical recovery needs, and chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current valid physical therapy license for the state of Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
• Proficient in word processing and various computer software to manage patient records efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate flexibility and agility in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years' experience in a relevant physical therapy setting is required, candidates with specialized training in areas such as pediatrics, geriatrics, or sports medicine are highly regarded. Experience in outpatient care settings is preferred, allowing for the provision of individualized patient therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to our base salary, we provide:
