Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility and adaptability in how care is delivered. You will primarily operate from home while maintaining a strong connection with students and school personnel through virtual platforms. As part of a cohesive team, you will engage in multidisciplinary meetings, consultations, and collaborative efforts with educators, parents, and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic support for each student.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs of each student, focusing on their mental, emotional, and social well-being.

• Deliver both individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), relaxation techniques, and motivational interviewing.

• Actively participate in crisis intervention and triage, providing immediate support and referrals as necessary to ensure the safety and stability of students in distress.
\n
• Document and maintain accurate records of client interactions, treatment approaches, and progress, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to track outcomes and ensure continuity of care.

• Collaborate with school staff, mental health practitioners, and community agencies in case consultations to enhance care coordination, share insights, and develop joint strategies to address student needs.

• Organize and execute outreach initiatives focusing on wellness education, mental health awareness, and community resources aimed at empowering students and families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, and behavioral challenges. By working closely with students and their families, you will foster a supportive environment that encourages open communication and healing, ultimately contributing to improved academic performance and emotional resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, with an active Pennsylvania License in Social Work (LCSW).

• A minimum of three years of experience in behavioral health settings, with a strong understanding of mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions.

• Proficiency in trauma-informed care approaches and social justice frameworks to advocate for equitable mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
