This is a full-time remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while accessing necessary outpatient office resources in The Dalles, Oregon. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive utilization reviews with insurance companies to secure initial and continued authorizations, ensuring that all necessary clinical information is accurately documented.

• Maintain open lines of communication with patients' families, returning calls and emails within two hours during working hours, and within 24 hours during off hours.
\n
• Collaborate closely with our Utilization Review and Business Departments to facilitate timely authorizations and address payment queries, as well as work with referral sources to coordinate continuity of care.

• Initiate discharge planning on the first day of patient admission, leading discharge sessions to ensure patients leave with a robust understanding of their coping strategies, transition plans, and necessary resources.
\n
• Effectively manage crisis situations during sessions, offering support to staff and maintaining an environment conducive to healing and recovery.
\n
• Timely completion of all clinical documentation to comply with regulatory standards and ensure accuracy throughout the therapeutic process.
\n
• Establish strong therapeutic rapport with patients and their families, conducting assessments for suicidality and any potential risks to safety.
\n
• Facilitate the admission process for new patients with professionalism and a welcoming demeanor, actively engaging in clinical outreach efforts.
\n
• Contribute to a weekly treatment team meeting, sharing insights and coordinating care strategies to meet the treatment goals of each patient.

You will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges. This may encompass anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more complex behavioral health issues. Your role will be integral in not only managing symptoms through therapeutic techniques but also in empowering clients to achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.

• An independent license in the state of Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is a requirement.

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and effective communication through electronic mail.

Compensation and Benefits\n
