The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, emphasizing work-life balance while upholding the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including initial intake evaluations, to understand client histories and formulate effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and solution-focused techniques.

• Provide therapeutic interventions for a diverse range of client challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, and interpersonal relationship issues.

• Engage clients in building rapport and trust, empowering them to set achievable goals and make sustainable changes in their lives.

• Respond promptly to crisis situations, offering immediate support and intervention as needed.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure integrated care solutions.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, offering mentoring and supervision to interns or novice counselors interested in advancing their skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse array of clients facing various mental health challenges, such as mood disorders, life transitions, trauma recovery, and relationship difficulties. Our clients range from adolescents to adults, providing an enriching experience for counselors with a passion for diverse age groups and a variety of therapeutic needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Georgia.

• At least two years of experience delivering therapeutic services in an outpatient or clinical environment.

• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to devise effective, personalized treatment plans.

• Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and adherence to state and organizational guidelines.

• Aptitude for providing culturally competent therapy that acknowledges and respects the diverse backgrounds of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
