Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions remotely or in person at our outpatient center, ensuring client needs are met with sensitivity and professionalism.

• Leading group therapy sessions that focus on topics such as anger management, coping strategies, and the development of social skills, aimed at reducing high-risk behaviors.

• Collaborating closely with the Child Family Treatment Team to create comprehensive treatment plans that address immediate concerns and support long-term mental health goals.

• Documenting client progress diligently, adhering to all regulatory requirements for intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes without delay.
\n
• Participating in monthly team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and contribute recommendations for enhancing service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will focus on supporting a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families grappling with a range of mental health issues. You will engage with children and their caregivers, emphasizing a holistic, strength-based approach to therapy that encourages clients to recognize their own competencies. Our center serves a variety of demographic backgrounds, ensuring exposure to a broad spectrum of clinical presentations and family structures.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in California.
\n
• Availability for a minimum commitment of 5–10 hours per week, specifically during after-school hours from 4 PM to 7 PM.

• A valid driver’s license as well as access to a registered vehicle for client sessions as needed.
\n
• A commitment to ethical practice, evidenced by successfully passing a comprehensive criminal background check and fingerprinting.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preferred candidates will have:

• At least two years of experience in therapeutic settings, particularly in providing positive behavioral support and working with youth and families.

• Practical knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and innovative approaches to mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer:
