Work Environment

This position operates in a home care setting, allowing you to provide one-on-one therapy in the patients' environments, which can significantly improve the effectiveness of treatment. You will be part of a collaborative team that includes two other physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all working together to deliver the best outcomes for our clients. With a strong focus on patient satisfaction, we primarily accept private medical insurance carriers, ensuring tailored financial plans for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments to identify and meet patients' goals and needs through personalized care plans.
• Manage a caseload effectively, seeing 2-3 patients per hour, while ensuring quality and focused treatment.
• Utilize your orthopedic outpatient experience to develop and implement cost-effective treatments that enhance patient mobility.
• Facilitate alternatives to medications by providing innovative therapy options that minimize the need for surgical interventions.
• Create and customize fitness and wellness-oriented programs that align with each patient's specific rehabilitation needs.
• Motivate and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques that promote recovery.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and document patient progress meticulously using EMR Software such as WebPT.
• Consult collaboratively with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Champion a healthy lifestyle for clients by focusing on improving their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Your role will be crucial in addressing individual care needs, ensuring that each patient receives the focused attention necessary for effective recovery in a familiar environment.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of a current Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with no disciplinary actions or board actions on record.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who have at least two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy settings. Experience managing diverse patient needs and developing comprehensive treatment plans is highly valuable in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
