This position is fully remote, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact from the comfort of your own home. We emphasize flexibility in scheduling, ensuring that you can accommodate patient availability while maintaining a standard workweek from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at our center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to capture the complexity of each patient's experiences.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices that incorporate cultural competence and responsiveness.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, addressing a variety of mental health concerns and promoting resilience.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care and ensure continuity in treatment.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support in urgent situations, demonstrating composure and clinical skills in high-pressure scenarios.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment strategies, and community resources, fostering empowerment and understanding.

• Maintain meticulous records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.

• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training on cultural competency and best practices in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the State of Georgia.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy, with an emphasis on cultural inclusivity.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with experience in teletherapy practices and specific training in culturally responsive therapy will be given preference.
