Work Environment

Our Highland Park outpatient office features a welcoming atmosphere that is both modern and functional, designed to facilitate optimal patient interaction and engagement. The workspace is dedicated solely to outpatient services, allowing our therapists to focus on developing personalized treatment plans while utilizing advanced rehabilitation equipment. The typical working schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assessments and therapeutic interventions for each patient, addressing their specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain a manageable caseload that allows for quality one-on-one interactions, ensuring that each patient receives focused attention and care.
• Demonstrate a high level of expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform treatment decisions.
• Implement and develop cost-effective treatment strategies aimed at restoring patient motion, functionality, and overall well-being.
• Promote non-surgical options to patients, with an emphasis on reducing dependency on pain medications through effective physical therapy techniques.
• Craft comprehensive care plans that encompass a variety of modalities tailored to the unique physical needs and fitness levels of each patient.
• Incorporate wellness and fitness programs into patient care plans, adapting them as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and progress assessments.
• Motivate patients throughout their interventions, fostering a supportive environment that encourages self-efficacy and goal accomplishment.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure integrated care continuity.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on outcomes and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist will work with a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, post-operative patients, and individuals dealing with chronic pain conditions. Our clinics focus on providing personalized attention to ensure each patient's distinct background and recovery requirements are considered, leading to effective and measurable healing outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with a clean record free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• A proven proficiency in various manual therapy modalities and a strong ability to design and implement successful exercise regimens for patient care.
• Competence in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, for accurate patient documentation and communication.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development, keeping abreast of the latest techniques and treatments supported by research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, specifically with orthopedic cases.
• Previous exposure or specialization in sports rehabilitation and exercise prescription.
• Familiarity with advanced treatment technologies and protocols in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

Joint Ventures Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
