Work Environment

The position is based onsite in our modern outpatient office, designed to facilitate efficient patient flow and a comfortable visiting experience. The work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced schedule that promotes work-life harmony. As a member of the outpatient team, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals in a supportive and collegial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and comprehensive patient assessments to gather critical information for diagnosis and treatment.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions, providing evidence-based care that aligns with hospital protocols.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies, to inform treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring the safety and well-being of all patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient-centered care plans, working together to maximize health outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about health management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications to empower them in their healthcare choices.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records using electronic health systems to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Engage in hospital rounds and case discussions to stay aligned with best practices and organizational goals for quality improvement.
• Participate in staff training and development activities, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Advocate for evidence-based practices and contribute to quality assurance initiatives within the outpatient department.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Nurse Practitioner at Physentra Hospital, you will serve a diverse patient population that includes individuals of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution.
• Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Georgia or eligible to obtain licensure promptly.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical or outpatient setting, with a demonstrated ability to provide high-quality patient care.
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and decision-making.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering effective relationships with patients and team members.
• Capability to thrive in a collaborative multidisciplinary atmosphere and to function independently when necessary.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and interact with patients within a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient or primary care setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems and clinical documentation standards.
• Certification in a relevant specialty area, such as family practice, pediatrics, or geriatrics, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Physentra Hospital offers a competitive salary range of $180,000.00 - $200,000 per year, with opportunities for productivity bonuses based on performance metrics.
