Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments, including diagnostic interviews, psychosocial evaluations, and risk assessments to identify the individual needs of clients.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect patients' goals, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) in various settings including individual and group counseling.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services and work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver continuous support during acute distress situations.
\n
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including treatment plans and progress notes, in alignment with clinic policies and regulatory guidelines.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducation sessions for clients and families, empowering them with essential skills and knowledge to manage their mental health effectively.

• Regularly assess treatment outcomes, making necessary adjustments based on client progress and feedback.
\n
• Stay abreast of developments in mental health research, integrating contemporary practices into your clinical work.

• Uphold ethical standards and ensure confidentiality of patient information is strictly maintained.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population within the San Francisco community, including individuals from varying cultural backgrounds with a range of mental health challenges. Your compassionate approach will be pivotal in addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties, while your commitment to individualized care will cultivate a robust therapeutic alliance with each client.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• Strong ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in mental health counseling or therapy.

• Experience using telehealth platforms effectively to conduct therapy sessions.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for clinical documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The annual salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $84,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
