Work Environment

In this role, you will work primarily in patients' homes, allowing for a flexible environment that adapts to their specific recovery needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, assessing strength, mobility, and overall functional capabilities.
• Implement advanced diagnostic techniques to tailor treatment plans specific to each patient's condition and recovery goals.
• Design and execute personalized therapy programs, integrating manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education techniques.
• Monitor patient progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize outcomes and ensure effective rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, rehabilitation practices, and at-home exercise regimens to foster ongoing recovery.
• Engage in continuous communication with healthcare professionals, including case managers and nurses, to facilitate coordinated care and enhance patient outcomes.
• Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems for documentation and management of patient care, ensuring accurate records for follow-ups.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. By delivering evidence-based therapies directly in their homes, you will improve their functional mobility, reduce pain, and help them achieve a higher quality of life during their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida is required.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited program is essential.
• Demonstrated clinical competency in orthopedic and sports medicine environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of building rapport with patients and their families.
• A strong commitment to patient care and an ability to inspire and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation.
• Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy, particularly within orthopedic and home care settings.
• Familiarity with treatment modalities including but not limited to ultrasound, TENS, and other therapeutic techniques.
• Proficiency in using electronic documentation systems for patient care management.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
