Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate client symptoms related to mood disorders, ensuring thorough understanding of their severity and impact on daily living.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on addressing their specific needs, goals, and preferences effectively.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients in managing their mood disorders.

• Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families, empowering them to understand mood disorders and participate actively in their treatment.

• Regularly monitor clients’ progress, maintaining fluid communication and adjusting treatment approaches as needed based on feedback and developments.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other professionals within our integrated care team to ensure holistic treatment and optimal patient outcomes.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments, integrating new knowledge into your clinical practice to maintain best practices.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans while ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and organization standards.

• Participate in case consultations and professional training sessions to enhance your clinical skills and keep abreast of evolving therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals facing significant challenges related to mood disorders. This includes helping clients navigate the complexities of depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding clients through their treatment journeys, fostering resilience, and strengthening their coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist in the state of Washington.

• Proficient in evidence-based treatment methods specifically for mood disorders, including familiarity with CBT and DBT.
\n
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology, with the ability to communicate effectively with psychiatric colleagues regarding client medication needs.

• A record of demonstrated success in treating mood disorders, highlighting effective interventions and therapeutic outcomes.

• Exceptional communication skills, enabling rapport with individuals from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
