Work Environment\n

Our remote work setting provides ample opportunity for collaboration through virtual meetings and team consultations. You'll be part of an interdisciplinary team of therapists, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals dedicated to holistic patient care. The outpatient nature of our facility encourages a flexible approach to scheduling, with regular working hours set from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, along with potential adjustments based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand the unique needs of each patient.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions focused on healing and recovery.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and fellow therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, exhibiting strong decision-making skills.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about effective trauma management techniques, fostering empowerment and resilience.
\n
• Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation in adherence to HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations and roundtable discussions to enhance shared knowledge in trauma care among peers.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with adults who are experiencing the impacts of trauma. Many of our clients have complex trauma histories, and your ability to create a safe space for them to share their experiences, as well as your nuanced understanding of various trauma-related disorders, will be essential to fostering their recovery and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• A valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Experience working with trauma-related disorders and familiarity with contemporary therapeutic methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with a profound ability to connect with clients in a therapeutic context.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with additional clinical experience in trauma therapy, crisis intervention, and group therapy facilitation will be given preference. Your expertise in evidence-based treatments will directly enhance the care we provide to our clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
