This position is based onsite at our Eastchester facility, where you will be part of a passionate team of healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive physical examinations for a variety of patients across different ages and demographics.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic health conditions that present in a typical urgent care setting.
• Order, perform, and interpret relevant diagnostic tests, including laboratory work, medical imaging, and necessary procedures like spinal taps.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans and collaborate with medical staff to implement them effectively.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and patient needs.
• Maintain detailed, accurate medical records using ICD-9 coding standards to support effective care management.
• Engage in ongoing communication with patients, providing education about health maintenance, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Essen Healthcare, our urgent care services cater to patients of all ages, from children to geriatrics. You will encounter a diverse range of medical scenarios—from minor injuries and infections to chronic disease exacerbations—ensuring the delivery of patient-centered care tailored to each individual’s needs. Building rapport and trust with patients is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two (2) years of direct patient care experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in urgent care, family medicine, or related fields.
• A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in urgent care or family medicine settings is highly desirable.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Cerner to ensure efficient patient documentation and management.
• Experience or familiarity with pediatrics, geriatrics, memory care, and specific procedures such as administering botulinum toxin treatments is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Nurse Practitioner role offers an attractive salary range of USD 150,000 to 160,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
