Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, comprehensive physical examinations to evaluate patient health and identify concerns.
• Diagnose and treat a range of acute and chronic conditions, providing personalized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests such as blood work, imaging studies, and other examinations to inform treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement detailed treatment plans that include both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain meticulous medical records and documentation utilizing ICD-9 coding, adhering to best practices for patient confidentiality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare providers to share insights on patient progress and optimize care strategies.
• Provide educational resources and counseling to patients about disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and medication management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric individuals, addressing various health concerns from minor injuries to chronic conditions. Qualifications

• Graduate with a Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in cardiology, pediatrics, or geriatrics is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Cerner, is advantageous.
• Experience in performing specific procedures such as botulinum toxin treatments would be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
