Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing rapport and positive relationships built on trust while upholding ethical standards.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess their progress and stability, and communicate appropriately during discharge planning when necessary.

• Design, implement, and continuously monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to clients’ specific goals and challenges.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client to facilitate seamless communication and continuity of care.
\n
• Administer comprehensive intake assessments to gather essential information on each client’s history and current needs.
\n
• Conduct weekly individual therapy sessions, implementing evidence-based practices to promote effective treatment.
\n
• Engage in individual supervision and ongoing professional development, maintaining a growth mindset to enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams, including other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Morton Comprehensive Health, you will primarily focus on youth populations facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and adjustment disorders. Utilizing telehealth methodologies, you will create a safe and inclusive environment, promoting wellness and resilience through digital platforms. Your role is pivotal in enhancing access to care, especially for those who may face barriers to traditional therapy settings.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
\n
• Current licensure as an LPC in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements specific to the clinic's policies and procedures.

• A minimum of one year of experience providing mental health support to psychiatric patients and/or individuals from substance abuse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in conducting assessments, diagnostics, as well as individual and group therapy sessions.
\n
• Basic computer proficiency and competency in electronic health records management.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in youth counseling, particularly in a telehealth setting.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities is a plus, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
