Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and mental health evaluations to develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' needs from the first consultation through treatment.

• Create tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on thorough assessments of your clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that engage and support a variety of therapeutic goals.
\n
• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, utilizing effective metrics to ensure that treatment goals are being met and adjusted as necessary.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other mental health professionals, physicians, and social workers, to implement effective intervention strategies.
\n
• Manage referrals and follow-up communications with clients and their healthcare teams, especially for those requiring hospitalization or intensive care.
\n
• Identify high-risk behaviors and implement strategies to prevent issues that may impede the client’s recovery.
\n
• Support family members and caregivers in navigating the complexities of mental health challenges, equipping them with tools and resources for effective management.

Our clients represent a spectrum of demographics and mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and relationship difficulties. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is a prerequisite.

• Current licensure in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is required to practice within the state.

• The successful candidate will have passed the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated expertise and a well-rounded background as a mental health counselor, making you eligible to deliver effective therapy without supervision.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, for documentation and maintaining client records efficiently.

• Knowledge of various physical and emotional health conditions, along with experience in addressing addiction disorders, will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

• Familiarity with best practices recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) to guide therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
