Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and formulate effective treatment plans.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment strategies aimed at trauma recovery, including the integration of techniques like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their trauma, cultivate coping mechanisms, and enhance their path to healing.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and behavioral health professionals to coordinate integrated care tailored to individual patient needs.

• Providing crisis intervention and support to patients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and therapeutic options to foster understanding and encourage proactive engagement in treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically targets individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your clinical expertise will directly support these clients as they work through their challenges and journey toward recovery, developing resilience in the face of adversity.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• An ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress scenarios.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field is preferred, we value continuous learning and adaptability. Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies will be an advantage as it aligns closely with our patient treatment goals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
