Job Description

• Craft Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patient needs and create individualized treatment strategies that empower them to reach their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their loved ones on therapeutic techniques to facilitate ongoing progress in a home environment.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans accordingly, ensuring patients maintain a steady path toward recovery.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Continuing education or additional post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
