Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health to determine their current status and therapeutic needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities and approaches.
\n
• Engage in regular therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in group settings, delivering effective interventions and support.
\n
• Offer referrals to external specialists, such as psychiatrists, when necessary, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress using our electronic health record (EHR) system to facilitate quality continuity of care.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will be focused on a diverse range of clients, including individuals struggling with substance abuse, anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders, and other mental health challenges. You will apply culturally sensitive approaches to therapy, helping clients navigate their unique circumstances with an understanding of their cultural backgrounds and personal experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience working with a wide array of mental health issues.
\n
• Deep understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
\n
• Proficiency in conducting both individual and group therapy sessions in a culturally responsive manner.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage complex situations effectively.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of building strong rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and the use of technology in therapy settings.
\n
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, professional ethics, and boundaries while providing compassionate care.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance client outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with trauma-informed care and specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Motivational Interviewing.

• Training in cultural competence and sensitivity to the needs of underrepresented populations.

• Prior experience working in a community health setting is a plus.
